My friend and I visited Sopwell House, St Albans for a pamper day.

We both thought the facilities were excellent, unfortunately the sauna was out of use on the day we attended but the steam room was working and the other options were fine.

The lunch was very well prepared and tasty. My favourite treatment was the Espa mini facial, my friends was the massage.

I would give the day 8/10, it would of been higher but my friend was rushed out of her pedicure without it being completed properly, and the waiting staff seemed a little distracted when we tried to find a table and order drinks.

I have been to the Sanctuary in Covent Garden, which had an advantage of there being no children within the complex, however overall I thought Sopwell House was a better value for money day. And the location was lovely.
