My partner, Neall Slattery, recently booked me a mini pamper day at Botleigh Grange Hotel, Grange Rd., Hedge End, Southampton, SO30 2GA.
The leisure facilities were refurbished a few months ago and the standard of the facilities was magnificent. The swimming pool had two glass walls and it felt as though I was swimmimg out into the garden. The staff were very pleasant and lunch was delicious. My favourite treatment was the facial as it was so relaxing and my skin felt so good afterwards.
The only criticism was that I was disappointed that it was not a proper pedicure. It consisted of having my nails cut and polished. For this reason I will give it 8/10.
I have visited other spas before but this was the best one I've been to. In fact, it was so good that I am going to make another booking for myself and a friend

Very clean . Beautiful gardens. Couldn’t fault them
What did you most LIKE about the Spa?
The cleanliness. The staff were always helpful and very happy to be there! The Spa facilities too. And the settings.
What did you most DISLIKE about the Spa?
The menu had a choice of 3 salads for the first course, 3 salads for the main course and then fruit salad for dessert as well as 2 others. We both chose lemon fool which we both left as we couldn’t make out what was in it.
Any treatments you particularly enjoyed or can recommend?
Back , neck and shoulder massage - that was my friends favourite too.
Had you been to a Spa before and how did it compare?
Yes. It was the best for cleanliness (sorry to keep repeating but true!)
